Candace’s a proud HBCU graduate who brings over 29 years of health care industry and leadership experience. She has held various roles in healthcare over that time frame which include managed service program leadership, staffing, credentialing, training, curriculum development and design, pharmacy operations, medical billing, project management, diversity and inclusion, workforce consulting, process improvement, client and agency program implementations, staffing division director, business development, and health care information technology. Candace has chaired and been a part of employee resource groups and currently is Vice President for Texas College’s Alumni Board, Henderson, Texas. She presented at AAPPR in 2023, Healthcare 2.0 in 2024 and presenting at the IIGlobal Women’s Power Summit Expo in October 2024. In addition, Candace is a 2024 Healthcare 2.0 Outstanding Leadership in Healthcare honoree who was also recently inducted into the Marquis Who’s Who for her work in inclusion. In addition she was named by WYN 2024 Innovative Voice of Leadership. She is an industry leader, published author, global motivational speaker, storyteller, ghost writer, brand ambassador, podcast host, mentor, coach, volunteer, business owner, and most of all a humble servant of God. Candace, a single mom of three, also volunteers with several organizations that focus on mentorship, empowerment, and servitude to others, and was recently named Marquis Who’s Who of Professional Women 2024
